On Tuesday evening, (after completing two weeks in quarantine), Br. Paul Smith was welcomed into the community during a brief induction ceremony after Vespers. This initiated his one-year postulancy which will be followed by a two-year novitiate. Br. Paul is from Norristown, Pennsylvania where, up until recently, he served as a psychiatric nurse in the State Hospital. He joins Br. Tom in the postulancy program and his entrance brings our community up to twelve members. Join us in thanking God for calling Br. Paul, and pray with us for his perseverance on this narrow road that leads to Life!

Blessed be God! I’ve watched the aging and decline in numbers at Holy Cross over the last two decades, and I remember Fr. Edward, when he was in residence at Carroll Manor in DC, telling me that he might not see that trend reversed but that it would happen. Blessings to all.
