FRUITCAKE

MONASTERY FRUITCAKES

A fruitcake from the Trappist monks for those who appreciate quality products, made from an old-fashioned recipe, using choice fruits and nut meats in a brandy-laced batter. These beautiful and delicious cakes are packaged in a reusable decorative tin. Each cake weighs 2 lbs. 4 oz and is generously sized to satisfy family and friends.

This will be the best fruitcake you have ever tasted—as good as the one Grandmom used to make!

The Gift Shop also offers a smaller, 1.5 lb. loaf fruitcake as well as the traditional 2.25 lb. round fruitcake. In addition, cakes can also be purchased online at monasteryfruitcake.org

CREAMED HONEYS 

Creamed honeys are kept well-stocked, both at our Gift Shop and in our Bakery Webstore.

Monastery Creamed Honey is pure locally sourced honey in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Our creamed honey is 100% natural; it is filtered, so as to remove bees’ wings and honeycomb pieces, but otherwise completely unprocessed, so as to preserve all the health benefits of raw honey. It is naturally crystallized and has the texture of butter, so it is spreadable.  The shelf life is indefinite, and the pure natural flavor (with or without one of the other natural flavors we add) is something you’ll love!  Varieties sold include:
