The community Mass is celebrated at 10:00 AM, Dom Joseph Wittstock presiding. We begin with the blessing of the palms in the cloister: please enter through Cool Spring House (the “Mansion”). Palms will be distributed at the door. After the blessing of Palms and celebration of the Palm Sunday Gospel (Mark 11:1-10) we process through the Chapter Room to the church where you may take your place in the pews for guests. The Passion of our Lord Jesus Christ according to Mark is celebrated by Dom Joseph and two readers from the monastic community.
Please take your palms home with you; blessed objects may be buried or burned when they are no longer needed.
Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament will be celebrated after Vespers (5:30 PM). All are welcome to join us, a beautiful way to inaugurate Holy Week.
