Many of you will remember this past summer when a very well behaved feral cat, who had taken the Abbey under her patronage, gave birth to her litter and offered them for adoption through this website. There was some question whether she was again pregnant and when the time came for another appointment to neuter her, yes, she was pregnant indeed. She gave birth to that litter of six healthy kittens 5 February–The Memorial of Saint Agatha–so her family is now four weeks old and already eating solid food. The weaning process has begun.
A few people had given their names to Carol Hensley should this happy event occur again. Would you please confirm your interest by contacting Carol at 540-955-4383 or emailing her at information@hcava.ord ? Who knows, there may be a couple of kittens to spare for others, newly interested. The kittens should be ready to move to new homes after Palm Sunday, 18 March.
We hope to post photos of this litter in a week or less.
