The community Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Fr. Vincent Collins presiding and preaching. The Shop will be open shortly after Mass.
This Sunday is the first Sunday of the month and we begin the monthly Eucharistic Adoration at 4:00 PM and conclude with Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament after Vespers (5:30 PM). All are welcome to join us.
Charles Stevenson says
This sounds like an invitation to the community as a whole – Does this mean that the church is open? Or that there is otherwise room for “the usual suspects”? Please fill us in – and Thank you!
James says
No. The invitation, “All are welcome to join us” is proper to Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament mentioned in the second paragraph. That’s why that sentence appears in the second paragraph and not the first paragraph.
The church renovations are not yet complete; in fact our old benches are being refinished in preparation for completed renovation and the four long benches are no longer in our temporary chapel. We only had shorter benches to replace them, so there is less room than ever.
Last Sunday was uncomfortably crowded.
Hardly anyone comes to the monthly Eucharistic Adoration so there’s plenty of room there for any interested in joining us SUNDAY AFTERNOON BETWEEN 4:00 AND 6:00 PM.
