We still have good availability in the Retreat House through July and August, both weekdays (Monday through Friday) and Weekends (Friday through Sunday).
If you’ve ever stopped and wondered why vacations can seem frantic and anything but relaxing, how about taking some vacation days for a retreat? It’s a great way to truly get away from everything, to unplug and just be unavailable to the stresses and strains of “instant communication”. Many of our retreatants mention how glad they are to tell family and friends that they just can’t reach them for a few days while they enjoy the quiet and beauty of the Abbey.
Each room has its own private bath–the shower stalls newly tiled–and all rooms are air conditioned. There’s a serene, air conditioned meditation chapel in the Retreat House, a library with plenty material for spiritual reading and an attractive solarium with a view towards the Blue Ridge.
