All the rites listed below are celebrated in the Abbey Church. Our friends, neighbors, visitors and Br. Ed’s family are all invited to participate in the recitation of the Psalms between 10:10 AM and 1:55 PM; there will be a sign-up sheet just inside the church door.
Friday, 1 May, 5:30 PM: Vespers of the Office of the Dead
Saturday, 2 May, 3:30 AM: Vigils of the Office of the Dead
7:00 AM: Lauds of the Office of the Dead
10:00 AM: Reception of Br. Edward’s Body by the Community
10:10 AM – 1:55 PM: Recitation of the Psalter until Mass
2:00 PM: Mass of the Resurrection for Br. Edward followed by burial in the monastic cemetery
5:30 PM: Vespers of the Office of the Dead
