Three of our monks (including Abbot Robert) will be absent since they will celebrate the solemn profession of Sr. Maria at our nun’s monastery, Our Lady of the Angels, Crozet, Virginia. Because our numbers will be considerably reduced, at Holy Cross Abbey we will celebrate the full Lauds of the Solemnity at 7:00 AM and immediately celebrate the Mass of the Solemnity. With that exception we will follow the Sunday schedule with Midday Prayer at 12:20 PM, Vespers at 5:30 PM, followed by Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament. Fr. James will preside at the Mass but there will be no homily.
