As some of you may know, this year we are not selling Monastery Fruit Cakes by mail order, fax, phone order or over the internet. BUT a limited number of Fruitcakes are available for this year at the Abbey’s Gift Shop on a first come, first served basis. If you were hoping to serve a Monastery Fruit Cake for the holidays or give one as a gift, you may still purchase one directly from the Gift Shop.

I recently purchased “Monastery creamed honey/ lemon” at my parish, St.Patrick’s Catholic church from an individual who represented that other than $1.50 to St. Patrick’s church, the balance ($5.00) was to be directly donated to the monks/monastery. Legit, I trust? Because I wish to purchase More and thus request any information in this regard. Thank you and may God grace you all with His blessings.

Just check the other post on Creamed Honeys and Truffles; there you’ll find the site for ordering honeys at: http://www.monasteryfruitcake.org

Hello. Peace be with you. I wanted to ask HOW your customers (like me) are able to order our annual fruitcake for our families? We have ordered fruit cake from your monastery for years and it is the only one we buy.
We live in Southern California. We don’t have a way to get to your gift shop to purchase the fruit cake in person.
Please assist.
Thank you,
God bless,
Marie Monsalve

Sorry, but that’s the point: the fruitcakes are only available at the gift shop and cannot be ordered. This reflects our constrained personnel situation. In 2015 we will resume baking fruitcakes but only for sale in the gift shop. We cannot spare monks to perform the data entry, labeling and shipping, while hiring employees to do the work would cut into our income.
You may want to contact Guadalupe Abbey in Lafayette, Oregon, a Trappist Monastery that has been baking a reputable fruitcake for half a century and still operates an on-line mail order business.
