Prayer Request, 2 January, 2013

Please remember Br. Barnabas Brownsey in your prayers. Brother Barnabas has been back and forth to doctors’ appointments over the past couple of weeks to get to the bottom of a problem with his balance. He has suffered a number of falls in the Abbey. As you may well know from your own experience, there’s nothing like a doctor’s office during the holiday season to pick up cold germs. Given his bigger preoccupations, Brother may not have given that cold due attention; last evening he had to be taken to Winchester Medical Center where he’s being treated for pneumonia. That’s the easy part! Hopefully they’ll also discover a workable treatment for his precarious balance.
