Jim Eaton says
Your ‘brother in spirit’ is with you in spirit.
Christine Kay says
I remember a song from childhood entitled “He’s Got The Whole World In His Hands” and that is what we all need to remember. God knows what He is doing and we all need to relax ( while still using common sense precautions) and leave the situation to Him. Don’t panic, just pray!
Fred Loving says
Thank you for the update.
Vicky says
Praying with you and for you and the world.
Charles Shenk says
I am praying for you at the Abbey that all of you stay well and safe.
James says
I believe it’s been said before, but it’s worth saying again and again: we are holding all of you in our prayers.
Not that our prayers are a hot line to God or get a special hearing, but we are aware of being in this all together and we pray with one another, beyond the physical separation, looking for God in all this.
We also, at all times, keep in prayer those who have been suffering from war, persecution, and the perennial lack of medical resources in so many parts of the world. They always have been living on the edge of doom, of which we have a small taste now.
We pray, aware of the irony that as Italy is gripped in their worst epidemic in living memory, the waters in Venice are cleaner than ever, pollution has cleared over Rome, etc. How many auto accidents will not occur or crimes be committed around the world under the present threat of contagion? What has our life style done to creation and one another?
So we also pray that we will learn some vital lessons from this pandemic.
